Last night Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates, along with the Snake River Sporting Club, was pleased to support Teton Literacy Center’s Sponsor a Reader Challenge Dinner. Held at Hotel Terra, this year’s event raised over $100,000. Proceeds will go to Teton Literacy Center’s childhood education programs, which help students become confident, lifelong readers through one-on-one tutoring.

Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates was among three teams to participate in the evening’s trivia contest.  The JHREA Rapid Reading Realtors – Katie Brady, Garth Gillespie and Matt Faupel – put their wits to the test during the team trivia. The questions covered a range of elementary-grade subject, including math, science and literature.

The trivia competition went into a double overtime among Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates, Jackson Hole Book Traders and Two Ocean Builders. Ultimately, the JH Book Traders team took the top honors. But Teton Literacy Center and the community’s students were the real winners.

Teton Literacy Center provides an important service to Jackson Hole’s young people. Last year, the organization touched the lives of over 375 families and provided more than 30,000 volunteer hours to local students and parents.

At Jackson Hole Real Estate Associates, our dedicated team is proud to support the organizations that make this place so special. Our agents contribute thousands of community service hours each year, and as a brokerage we strive to give back and honor this remarkable destination. It’s that sense of community that makes Jackson Hole the most philanthropic-focus county in the country on a per capita basis.

Please take the time to learn more about Teton Literacy Center and its important mission. Our hats are off to the great work they do to fill a need in our community. And a special thanks to Jeff Heilbrun and the Snake River Sporting Club team for helping to make the Sponsor a Reader Dinner a resounding success.
